Normalizes the columns of a matrix of phenome to the range from -1 to 1, where the reference value is mapped to 0.
Parameters
- matrix: GenerationPhenomeMatrix
  The matrix of phenome to normalize.
- reference: PhenomeRow
  The reference value to map to 0.
- abs: boolean = true
  Whether to take the absolute value of the normalized values.
Returns GenerationPhenomeMatrix
The normalized matrix of phenome.
